Freshly emerged from its cocoon, a blue moth marked with an eye at the end of each wing drifts into the world, unaware that its first flight will be the last. Drawn in by an alluring scent, the moth finds itself caught in a spider web. Three spiders approach to entangle their next meal in a body of webs.  Framed by blooming red roses, this gothic banner depicts the darker side of nature.

i wish i had more

this has been a center piece on my wall for a whole year now. (the ties are from me, they don’t come with the banner) the woven material has good memory and will remain creased from shipping, but with some pressure from a few textbooks over the course of a day (or maybe go over with a gentle steamer) and it falls smooth. this art and banner style in particular was def an easy pick for me.
