Its a great blanket, looks exactly as pictured. Warm but not too hot, i live in a warm climate so it is perfect. It does attract cat hair. But not too terribly. Its a great size for laying on the couch and using. But i would think it is too small to sleep with. Its also gorgeous. I got another blanket from here and same quality, it actually looked better than pictured. I do think the black background is more of an incredibly dark blue. Or there is a lot of blue used to make that color of black . I think it makes the blanket look more natural. the rats themselves have a dark blue that highlights their little rat bodies. But if expecting an all completely black blanket this is not the one. I personally like the dark blue.
